Norsk
Privacy policy for Seizure
Last updated 31 October 2026. For the app on iPhone and Android. In Norwegian the app is called Anfallslogg.
In short: Seizure doesn't collect anything about you. Everything you log stays on your phone. The
app has no server, no account, no ads and no tracking. Nobody else sees what you write, not even the person who
made the app.
What the app stores, and where
-
Your seizures are only stored in the app on your phone. That includes the time, duration,
intensity, description and the answers you give.
- Recordings and videos are only stored in the app on your phone.
-
Medications you add, with doses, changes over time and doses you mark as taken, are only
stored in the app on your phone. The app gives no advice about medications.
-
Medication reminders are set on the phone itself, without a server. While the app is locked,
the notification doesn't say which medication it is.
-
Speech to text is done on the phone, by the speech recognition in iOS or Android. The recording
is not sent anywhere. If the phone can't do this by itself, what was said is not written down.
-
Face ID, your fingerprint, your face and your phone's passcode are handled by iOS or Android.
The app only learns whether unlocking worked.
-
Backup: If you choose a folder for backups, for example in iCloud Drive on iPhone or Documents
on Android, the app saves a file with your seizures and medications there, and a readable text copy next to it.
They are then yours. If the folder is in iCloud, it is in
your own iCloud, under Apple's terms. Recordings and videos are not included.
-
The phone's own backup: If your phone backs itself up, to iCloud or to your Google account, your
seizures may be in that backup, under Apple's or Google's terms.
- Export and sharing: When you export or share your seizures, you decide where they go.
Access the app asks for
The app only uses the microphone, camera, speech recognition and Face ID or the screen lock when you use the
feature that needs them. It only asks to send notifications when you turn on medication reminders. You can turn
off access in your phone's Settings at any time.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics or diagnostics in your phone's Settings, Apple or Google may send anonymous
crash reports. They don't contain your seizures.
Deleting
If you delete the app, everything in it is deleted from the phone. A backup in a folder you chose stays there until
you delete it yourself.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here.
